FAQ

Can I deposit Polymarket shares or tokens into PolyGun?

No. PolyGun doesn't support external deposits of live market shares. All trades have to be executed directly through Polymarket via the bot.

I sent USDC but it isn't showing up.

Hit the Refresh button in the bot first. If it's still not there after a couple of minutes, check a block explorer to make sure the transfer went to the right address and that the network actually confirmed it.

What are the fees?

PolyGun applies a 1% fee per executed trade. This is on top of whatever Polymarket's baseline fees are.

Does it support limit orders?

Yes. You can place both Market and Limit orders.

Why is it asking me to confirm my trade?

That depends on your Trading Mode. If you are in 'Cautious' mode, it asks every time. If you are in 'Standard', it asks for trades over your set limit (which defaults to $100). If you want it to never ask, switch to 'Expert'.

Why did my trade fail?

Usually, it's one of these: you didn't have enough balance, the price slipped beyond your tolerance, market liquidity dried up, or the network is congested. Just refresh the bot and try hitting it again.

How is my PnL calculated?

It tracks your average entry price against the current market price, factoring in the fees you've paid. It updates whenever you hit refresh.

My position disappeared.

If it settled or you sold out, it automatically moves to the Closed tab. Check there.

Can I export my wallet?

Yes. PolyGun spins up a safe wallet for you, but you retain full control over it. You can grab your private key from Settings → Wallet Security. Just know that once you export it, securing it is entirely on you.

Do you have referrals?

Yes. You earn a cut of the trading fees when people you refer trade on PolyGun. The bot tracks this automatically and drops the earnings straight into your wallet.
